I work with a broad range of professionals offering supervision and case consultation to help you feel more confident & embodied in your work, increase your knowledge and skills, meet professional development needs, improve clinical work and outcomes, increase client retainment, prevent burn out and to ensure your business and practice thrives.
I use relational somatic modalities that are rooted in parts work, trauma therapy, critical social theory, sex therapy & money psychology to holistically help you.
Below are the areas I support you in (please also see the sex & money group as that is also part of individual supervision and consultation
Business Development / Financial & Money Therapy
ethical fee setting // finances // setting & maintaining boundaries // Money trauma or trauma influencing money // building & maintaining self-care // working relationally & somatically with clients on their money challenges // awareness of transference, counter-transference & enactments with payments & rates
This is both practical help and deep reflective support as you start, build or sustain your practice. It may look like helping you work through ethical ways to charge & set fees, explore your money beliefs; determine yearly raises; or it may be deeper work where we look at whats blocking your ability to set or maintain boundaries, guilt around enforcing policies or making a living wage, money trauma.
Im here to help you make empowered choices in your practice.
Sex Therapy*
sex // sexuality // relationship style // gender // sensuality // erotism
I help you to confidently support and explore how your clients internal, relational, societal and bodily experiences shape their relationship to sexual and erotic health. This may be as solo person or within their romantic relationships.
Support is tailored to your client needs and may include: education and health teaching; integrating somatic and psychodynamic approaches to all things sexuality; the impacts of sexual trauma and non-sexual trauma on sexual health & gender expression; increased understanding of diverse relationship models; community and medical resources to support you or to refer clients; exploring countertransference such as shame & avoidance and your own sexual scripts and beliefs
*this is for regulated health professionals only, including RPs, NPs, RSWs, RNs or MDs that provide therapy, counselling or want to set up and run a pessary clinic
Somatic / Nervous System / Polyvagal Approaches
I offer guidance, support and education to those who are wanting to or are currently working with somatic, nervous system (NS) or polyvagal approaches in their work. I help to clarify confusion around nervous system states & survival/adaptive responses from an embodied perspective; offer tools to support and resource clients you are working with tailored to their nervous system states & survival defences; help you understand polyvagal theory & that different NS states can co-exist at the same time & how apply this in clinical work; I support you as you explore your own connection to your body, awareness of your current states & how that gets brought up in relation to your clients. I guide you as you develop your own resources to support you during this work with clients.
