I have been supporting clients since 2005 when I started my career in emergency medicine, followed by sexual & intimate partner violence, child sexual abuse, sexual health, gynaecology and reproductive health & medicine. I wanted to bring this knowledge & experience into private practice & move away from front line work. This was furthered by my personal experiences of healing through psychotherapy, somatic & body work that has informed my Private Psychotherapy practice from its inception in 2015. Healing my money trauma came later and weaving that knowledge into my practice has been life changing for myself and my clients. Its with continued gratitude that I am able to contribute to & witness the growth of others in deeply meaningful & transformational ways.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) & a Registered Nurse (RN). I hold Honours BScN & a Masters degree from Toronto Metropolitan University. I furthered my studies with the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, as well as completing level 1 and 2 from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. I am also a certified Trauma of Money (TOM) practitioner. I am committed to ongoing trainings and workshops to advanced my psychotherapy practices, including completing the Sex Therapy Intensive Program at Guelph University, Becoming a Clinical Supervision with Leading Edge, multiple somatic & trauma trainings with Jane Clapp and Cultural Somatics with the Cultural Somatics Institute & many many others.

I also have training in various forms of yoga, movement, yoga Nidra, meditation, mindfulness & various art practices that I use to inform my psychotherapy practice. When I am not working, I’m in nature, connecting with friends and family, exercising, engaging in different movement practices, raising a tiny human, reading, making art, watching films, taking care of my plants & gardens, and trying to make friends with all the animals (tbh, most who don’t seem to want to be my friends!).
