My personal experiences of healing & transformation through psychotherapy, as well as my professional experiences as a Registered Nurse providing sexual & reproductive health teaching & counselling, as well as counselling & care to survivors of interpersonal violence, assault, child abuse, systemic oppression & marginalization have brought me to this work.  Through these pivotal experiences, I realized my calling is to contribute to & witness the growth & healing of others in deeply meaningful, profound & transformational ways.

I hold a diploma from the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP), and certificates in level I (Affect Dysregulation, Survival Defences & Traumatic Memory) and level II (Emotional Processing & Attachment Repair) from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. I have submitted by application to the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO) and I am awaiting registration. I am also a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT) & I am governed by their code of ethics.

My educational background is an Honours BScN & a Masters Degree in Nursing with a focus on sexual violence, internet sexual exploitation & public policy, both from Ryerson University. My post-secondary education also includes training in Ashtanga yoga, Vipassana meditation, mindfulness, western astrology, tarot & abstract painting.
