My personal experiences of healing through psychotherapy, as well as my professional experiences as a RN providing sexual & reproductive health teaching, as well as counselling & care to survivors of interpersonal violence, assault, child abuse, oppression & marginalization have brought me to this work. Its with continued gratitude that I am able to contribute to & witness the growth & healing of others in deeply meaningful & transformational ways.
I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario. I hold a diploma from the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, and certificates in level I (Affect Dysregulation, Survival Defences & Traumatic Memory) and level II (Emotional Processing & Attachment Repair) from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute.
My educational background is an Honours BScN & a Masters Degree in Nursing with a focus on sexual violence, exploitation & public policy. I also have training in Ashtanga yoga, yoga Nidra, meditation, mindfulness, western astrology, tarot & various art practices that I use to inform my Psychotherapy practice.
